 Second
Quarter, 2010
Volume 40, Number 2 On the cover:
In 1975, when this crisp winter scene was
shot along the Milwaukee's Milwaukee-LaCrosse mainline,
cabooses were taken for granted by railroad historians.
Milwaukee Road's orange cabooses were always a bright
conclusion to a passing freight, but in another decade,
the sight would be relegated to history. - Glenn A.
