My grandfather, John E. (Jack) Edwards worked for the Milwaukee Road for over 50 years. He started as a fireman and retired as a locomotive engineer in the mid 1960's with a Gold Pass. Prior to his retirement, he ran a switching route between Davis Junction and Dekalb, IL; he also rotated periodically to routes originating in Elgin, IL. I am researching his actual retirement date and will add him to the the employee history database when I have that information. |

I have a paperweight that is pewter(?). Says Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Ry on one side. Other side says Puget Sound-Electrified. The first side is bent in just a little bit. If one of you memebers would like this- it's yours first come first serve!
Thanks |
